I am a junior high teacher at a private school for 21 years; I have also taught grades 3 and 5.  I have two adult biological children: Miranda, 28 and Gabriel, 25.  I have two adult step-children and have been married to their father for 35 years.  I enjoy being outdoors as much as possible walking, playing tennis, or just out discovering new things.

I am contemplating a position in administration, but I am not sure that I can make the adjustment at this time.  The current position is opening for next year.

My husband and I are complete opposites, and I am struggling with finding a way to be at peace with that.  I really want to find my voice and learn how to be less resentful of his lack of willingness to do things around the house or activities.  I know that I want to make micro changes in myself and learn to be gentler with him and me.  I silently judge and get frustrated.
