Have you been taught how to receive or, how to be a giver? Most people never learned the art of putting themselves first. As adults trying to reconcile our emotional trauma, we quickly realize that no one ever taught us how to receive, sometimes not even how to receive a compliment without feeling guilty. It is often because we don’t feel like we are enough. We don’t feel like we deserve to be put on a pedestal, so we don’t put ourselves on a pedestal. We master negative self-talk which becomes a vicious circle. It’s time to expand our capacity to receive all the good things that life has to offer. Let’s start today.
